Origin[edit]
In the Animal Crossing series, a traveling musician named K.K. Slider appears on Saturday nights. With his acoustic guitar, K.K. performs an extensive catalog of music inspired by a wide variety of genres. When K.K. completes his performance, he gives the player an instrumental "aircheck", which features different instruments and no lyrics.
Go K.K. Rider! is one of the songs K.K. could perform in the original Animal Crossing game. This particular song is styled after theme songs for tokusatsu series such as Kamen Rider. This arrangement mixes the vocal and instrumental versions of the song with an original bridge; the overall instrumentation references the theme song for the original 1971 Kamen Rider series, including the revving of a motorcycle at the very beginning.

K.K. Slider's Performance[edit]
In addition to the tracks listed above, if a match is held on Smashville on Saturday between 8:00 pm and midnight, K.K. Slider will be present, performing one of the following tracks:
- K.K. Condor (ぺルーのうた, Song of Peru)
Origin[edit]
In the Animal Crossing games on Saturdays nights, K.K. Slider is present at the train station, The Roost, Club LOL, or Resident Services (depending on the game). Once spoken to, he sings a random song, or a specific song via requests. All of the tracks listed above are songs from the Animal Crossing series which K.K. Slider can sing, and are unaltered from their original appearances.

Trivia[edit]
- Most likely to support usage of the Easter egg, these tracks cannot be accessed via the Sound Test, nor can they be played through any other means, with the exclusion of "Rockin' K.K.", which plays during Event 26: The Slow and Easy Life.
- "K.K. Western" notably uses the same song structure as the traditional folk song, "The House of the Rising Sun", most specifically the cover version by The Animals.
- Similarly, "Rockin' K.K." is very similar to "Johnny B. Goode", a classic rock-and-roll song written by Chuck Berry, which was notably also the inspiration for the "Hippie Battle" theme from the EarthBound games.
