Origin[edit]
"Mario Circuit" is a music track originating in Super Mario Kart. It reappears in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario 3D World, and Super Mario Odyssey. It, as the name implies, plays on race tracks that go by the name Mario Circuit. The remix includes the Starting Grid countdown theme to signal the start of the race.

Origin[edit]
This is a remix of the track that plays on the Luigi Raceway, Mario Raceway, Wario Stadium and Royal Raceway courses in Mario Kart 64. It begins with the "Time Trials Start Grid" jingle from said game. The music track returns in Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Luigi Circuit is the name of all other courses involving Luigi, bar Luigi's Mansion, so the name was used for the title of this track.

The Wario Victory Theme is also incorporated into this remix, preceding its thematic appearance in Wario Land: Shake It!.

Origin[edit]
Rainbow Road is a recurring race course in the Mario Kart series, and has always had its own theme music. The particular Rainbow Road music track in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a direct port of the Rainbow Road theme from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, which incorporates snippets of the Rainbow Road theme from Mario Kart 64.
