Origin

Wrath of the Reset Bomb is a dramatic orchestral suite of the piece of the same name from Kid Icarus: Uprising, which plays during chapter 12 ("Wrath of the Reset Bomb") and serves as Viridi's character theme. This song was rearranged by its original composer, Yuzo Koshiro. When played on Reset Bomb Forest, the music syncs up with the narrative of the stage—reaching a crescendo when Viridi drops the Reset Bomb and looping to the start when the stage returns to normal—though unlike Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, it will become desynchronized if the game is paused or the gameplay speed is altered.

Trivia

  • Kid Icarus has fewer tracks in Ultimate than in Super Smash Bros. 4 as a whole; the original versions of Wrath of the Reset Bomb and Dark Pit are absent, due to their inclusion being solely for use in Smash Run. The Kid Icarus series is also one of the only fighter-represented franchises to not gain any new remixes nor include songs that were previously skipped over.
