The music in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS features a variety of tracks hailing from different series, but does not include nearly as many different pieces as the Wii U version. Most tracks are made available in-game through the Sound Test feature, with some exceptions. All but 12 tracks (and 10 other short cues) carry over to the Wii U version.
Sound Test track list[edit]
Much like in Brawl and for Wii U, the Sound Test menu is accessible by default, without any requirement to unlock it. However, several tracks need to be unlocked themselves via various methods. The following is the full track list as ordered and arranged in the Music portion of the Sound Test menu (with the exception of the Super Smash Bros. series, as detailed below). Note that the list is not explicitly categorized by series in the game, though each track features the symbol from the series it belongs to.
Super Smash Bros.[edit]
The first six tracks (from Menu to Menu (Melee): Ver. 2) are listed on top of the Sound Test list, then followed by the Super Mario Bros. series. The remaining tracks (Multi-Man Smash onwards) are listed on the bottom, right after the Bayonetta series.
