Overview[edit]
Hitboxes[edit]
The early hit is coded to ignore grounded shielding opponents without affecting them altogehter, instead of hitting them through like unblockable attacks. As a result, shielding opponents are not hit by the move until the mid hit. In the case of other moves with defensive hitboxes (such as counterattacks), the early hit ignores them if the user is on the ground, but not if they are in the air.
