Big Battlefield (大戦場, Large Battlefield) is a bigger version of Battlefield exclusive to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, specifically designed for 8-Player Smash. Due to this, it is larger than the normal Battlefield, with a wider base platform, and has more floating platforms, with six instead of three, in a pyramid formation. While it is designed for more than four players, Big Battlefield is available in normal Smash matches as well.
