Final Destination (終点, Endpoint) is a stage in Super Smash Bros. 4. ==Ω Forms==
Stage overview
In addition to the primary Final Destination stage, all other stages in Smash 4 are available in Ω Forms (Omega Forms), which modify them to have a Final Destination-like layout, consisting of a single flat platform and all stage hazards removed. Ω Form stages are not all functionally identical, however, as the shape of the platform's underside varies, with some stages having walls all the way down to the lower blast line. This can have a significant impact on characters' recovery; for example, Mario gains a slight advantage on an Ω Form stage with walls, as he can wall jump to gain extra height when recovering. This advantage, however, is strangely not applicable to Kalos Pokémon League and Pac-Land as it is impossible to wall jump despite the presence of walls.
Like its predecessors, the stage consists of a single floating platform with no hazards. The platform appears to be a combination of a blue half (somewhat resembling Brawls Final Destination platform), and an orange, molten half. While the platform is the same between the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game, the background visuals differ, though both versions' respective background cycles each last two minutes.

Pressing the X button on the stage select screen in the 3DS version will fill the circular cursor with either 終点 (Japan) or Ω (English), allowing Ω Form stages to be selected. There is also an option in the rules to have the game automatically select Ω Form stages at random; this is how stages are selected in For Glory mode. Ω Form stages can also be selected at random by pressing the X button and selecting Random on the stage select screen.
In forwiiu, the initial scene is space with a comet in the distance. It slowly comes closer, before zooming past as the stage turns to face a planet (reminiscent of Earth) and a sun. The stage moves towards them while occasionally rotating upside-down, with meteors flying past the stage. Eventually, the movement speeds up and there is a flash of white light, before the background transitions into a cloudy sky. The stage rotates upside-down occasionally in this scene. Finally, the background fades to black and the initial scene appears again, looping the cycle after two minutes.

In for3ds, the initial scene is space with a stream of stars moving past in the background. This fades into a wormhole, which the stage travels through until it reaches a comet. The comet fades into a sun, which causes a flash of white light in which meteors can be seen flying past, before arriving at an ocean. The sun sets on the horizon, turning to night. The stage then enters another wormhole, traveling through it before finally arriving at the initial scene, looping the cycle after two minutes.

As usual, Final Destination is typically considered a legal stage in tournaments, due to its simple layout and lack of any stage hazards.

*Although the Ω Forms of other stages were officially announced during the [[Super Smash Bros. *In the PAL French version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, "DF" stands for "Destination Finale".
*While the design of Battlefield differs between the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game, Final Destination's platform design is the same in both. The background, however, does differ, and the matching half of the stage animates.
*This is the first iteration of Final Destination to have sound effects accompanying the changing background animations.
*Even Final Destination itself can be selected as an Ω Form stage. If done so in the Wii U version, the bright flash that transitions from the planets' background to the sky background no longer makes the fighters silhouettes.
*Masahiro Sakurai stated that the first two games in the series had strong fiery imagery to convey a burning, passionate motif. Brawl had sky imagery to convey a more free motif. Since SSB4 was designed to feel right in between Melee and Brawl, the blazing sun and sky blue earth in the background of this stage may be representing this dichotomy of gameplay styles.
*In the PAL French version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the cursor spells DF for "Destination Finale".
*At the moment of Master Core's appearance, the background will change into psychedelic-waves that look slightly similar to Melees Battlefield during Classic, Adventure, and All-Star Modes, or Event Matches Space Travelers and Mewtwo Strikes!, thus making it the first time since Super Smash Bros. Melee that a Super Smash Bros. series stage has a unique background designed for a non-versus mode. Additionally, this is the background that appears on the stage preview in the 3DS version of the game.
*Suzaku Castle is currently the only stage that retains some interactive elements from its original form in its Ω Form, as the signs that appear behind the fighters can still be destroyed.
*The reason they are referred to as Ω Form is likely because Ω is the last letter of the Greek alphabet, while Final Destination (the stage which the Ω Form is based on) is the last stage in Classic Mode.

Final Destination (終点, Endpoint) is a stage in both versions of Super Smash Bros. 4. Like in previous games, this is where Master Hand and Crazy Hand are fought, along with the new boss Master Core starting at 5.1 Intensity in Classic Mode.

Stage overview[edit]

Like its predecessors, the stage consists of a single floating platform with no hazards. The platform appears to be a combination of a blue half (somewhat resembling Brawl's Final Destination platform), and an orange, molten half. While the platform is the same between the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game, the background visuals differ, though both versions' respective background cycles each last two minutes.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the initial scene is space with a comet in the distance.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, the initial scene is space with a stream of stars moving past in the background.

Ω form[edit]

Final Destination itself can be selected as an Ω form, but doing so is identical to selecting the normal form.

Tournament legality[edit]

As usual, Final Destination is typically considered a legal stage in tournaments, due to its simple layout and lack of any stage hazards.

Trivia[edit]

 • In the PAL French version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, "DF" stands for "Destination Finale".
 • This is the first iteration of Final Destination to have sound effects accompanying the changing background animations.
 • Masahiro Sakurai stated that the first two games in the series had strong fiery imagery to convey a burning, passionate motif. Brawl had sky imagery to convey a more free motif. Since SSB4 was designed to feel right in between Melee and Brawl, the blazing sun and sky blue earth in the background of this stage may be representing this dichotomy of gameplay styles.
 • At the moment of Master Core's appearance, the background will change into psychedelic-waves that look slightly similar to Melee's Battlefield during Classic, Adventure, and All-Star Modes, or Event Matches Space Travelers and Mewtwo Strikes!, thus making it the first time since Super Smash Bros. Melee that a Super Smash Bros. series stage has a unique background designed for a non-versus mode. Additionally, this is the background that appears on the stage preview in the 3DS version of the game.
