Big Battlefield (大戦場, Large Battlefield) is a stage exclusive to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It was revealed in the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: 50-Fact Extravaganza presentation.
Stage layout
Big Battlefield is, as its name implies, a bigger version of Battlefield, specifically designed for 8-Player Smash. With respect to the original stage, the main platform is wider and there are six floating platform instead of three, arranged in a pyramid formation. While it is designed for more than four players, Big Battlefield is available in normal Smash matches as well.
Big Battlefield's shares all of Battlefield's My Music tracks.
Tournament Legality
While there are no deadly hazards or for any specific reason given, Big Battlefield is banned in tournaments, possibly due to the fact it is simply Battlefield but larger.
Ω mode
Big Battlefield's Ω form is exactly identical to Battlefield's.

Trivia
- This stage is one of three to share its music with another stage, the other two being Pirate Ship and Super Mario Maker.
- Of those three, it is the only one that is part of the base game rather than being DLC.
- It is also the only one to take music from one stage, as opposed to multiple stages.
