The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Controls test is a stage which, as the name implies, is a basic stage which allows players to test their custom controls. As such, it cannot be used in Versus mode. It also shares a similarity with Custom stage tests, in that only Mario is the only character that can be used on it.
Layout
Controls test stage consists solely of one grounded platform, using the same texture as the Online Practice Stage, and two blank walls at either side, which can be wall jumped from. This also means that the blast lines at either side are completely inaccessible. The top blast line is accessible, though as Mario does not have any moves capable of damaging himself, he cannot be KO'd without a hack to access the stage in a multiplayer mode.
When the player presses a button(s), a small notice will appear in the top right corner, containing an icon for the button, as well as its function.
