Midna (ミドナ, Midona) is a major character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. She has made numerous appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series, specifically in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Midna appears by name in the title of Midna's Lament, an unlockable musical track playable on the Bridge of Eldin stage. Also, she appears as two trophies, though one is alongside Wolf Link.

Midna has been confirmed to appear as an Assist Trophy. She will attack the players with her hair extended into an arm form. It has also been stated her arm will grab and throw anything she can get at.

Origin

Midna appears in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as one of the main characters. In Twilight Princess, she helps Link along his quest, especially when he's Wolf Link, through giving him tips and through her ability to change her hair into the form of an arm. However, unlike her appearance in Super Smash Bros. 4, Midna never used her hair to directly attack an enemy, but instead used it to pull switches to aid in puzzles, and to generate a power field around Wolf Link in order for him to attack multiple enemies rapidly.
