Mii Swordfighter (SSBU)

Mii Swordfighter (Mii剣術タイプ, Mii Fencing Type) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. They were confirmed as playable characters on June 12th, 2018, along with the other Mii Figher types, Brawler, and Gunner.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

  • Change Players can customize the Mii Fighter's voice clips. Up to 12 voices are selectable.
  • Change Mii Swordfighters have had their body proportions adjusted.
  • Change While still based off default Miis, the Mii Swordfighter has an altered appearance.
  • Change The default outfits for the Mii Swordfighters have significantly more detail.
    • Change Mii Swordfighters now have sheaths on their back.


Other Changes

  • Change The Swordfighter's default outfit is now a tunic, with additional armor pieces and a sheath.
  • Change The Mii Swordfighter now has a move resembling Power Thrust, but with a slightly different animation. As of now, it is unclear if it is the same move or an entirely different one.
  • Change Blurring Blade now has a flame effect and ends in an upward slash, rather than a thrust.

Trivia

  • It is currently unknown whether their special moves are editable. However the changes to Palutena's moves suggest it is no longer possible.
