Bowser Jr. was unofficially revealed as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4 via leaked videos from footage used by ESRB to rate the game. He fights in the Junior Clown Car.
Known Moveset
- Neutral Special involves Bowser Jr. shooting a Cannonball from the Koopa Clown Car's mouth.
- He also drops a cannonball for his forward and back aerials.
- Side Special has the Clown Car gain wheels and drive forward, much like Wario Bike.
- Summons a Mecha-Koopa, presumably for his Down Special.
- His Up Special consists consists of jumping out of his Junior Clown Car while it explodes, dealing damage. After landing, he regains another vehicle.
- Bowser Jr. uses many weapons from Mario games.
- Uses the boxing gloves from New Super Mario Bros. U for his neutral attack and neutral aerial.
- Uses Grinders from Super Mario World as a dash attack.
- Uses drills as a forward smash and down aerial.
- Uses wrecking balls as a down smash.
- Uses a hammer for his up aerial. It can also be seen in one of his taunts.
- His up smash involves Bowser Jr. hitting opponents with the Clown Car's propellor.
- His Final Smash consist of him summoning Shadow Mario to paint an "X" in front of the screen. Any opponent that goes near it gets hit.
Palette swaps
Bowser Jr. doesn't change colors for his palette swaps. Instead, he is replaced with one of the Koopalings.
- Light Blue - Has Larry Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes light blue.
- Red - Has Roy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes red.
- Pink - Has Wendy O. Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes pink.
- Light Green - Has Iggy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes light green.
- Brown - Has Morton Koopa Jr. replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes dark brown.
- Yellow - Has Lemmy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes yellow.
- Blue - Has Ludwig Von Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes blue.
