In loser's, KEN was swiftly 3-0'd by Zackray's Pit, whereas Tea and Shuton went to game 5, with Tea finally winning. Dropping to the loser's, Acola defeats Tea 3-1, Zackray 3-0 (who had ended TamaP's run at 5th) before losing the runback against Hurt in loser's finals. In Grand Finals, Miya manage to reverse 3-0 Hurt, especially in game 3 where Miya combo'ed a 6 Judge into a 9, killing Hurt at only 11%, winning his second P Tier in 2024 after Kowloon with Sumabato. No international players in top 8 and especially Zomba et Sparg0 underperformances at Kagaribi 12 further proved Japan's dominance over the NA playerbase. Several top NA players, such as Dabuz, discuss after the tournament about the reason of the fall of the NA scene compared to Japan.
