Yaura (ヤウラ) is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Samus and Dark Samus player from Shikoku who is considered the greatest Samus and Dark Samus player of all time. He broke out onto the Japanese scene at the very beginning of the post-pandemic metagame, becoming the second player from Shikoku to achieve a significant out-of-region result since Ginko. He made his global ranking debut on the OrionRank Ultimate: Eclipse, and has been globally ranked in the top 50 since 2022, save for the second half of 2024 where he went on hiatus. He is the only Samus player in Ultimate to rank within the top 20 on a full-year ranking, doing so in 2023, and is the highest-ranking Samus player as well, ranking 13th in the first half of 2024. In addition, he is the only non-Smash 64 Samus player to win a major, doing so at Ikesuma 4. Online, Yaura achieved a Smashmate rating of 2,510.
