Dharkon (ダルツ, Darz) is one of the two main antagonists of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Adventure Mode: World of Light and the dark counterpart of Galeem. After Galeem's initial defeat, Dharkon appears from a crack in the sky, commanding an army of Crazy Hands. In the true ending, Galeem and Dharkon wage war against each other, but are also seeking to destroy the fighters. If only Galeem is defeated, Dharkon destroys Galeem's army and imprisons him, engulfing the world in darkness, eliminating Galeem and resulting in one of two bad endings.
Trivia
- Dharkon's name is a corruption of the word "darken", similarly to how Galeem's name is a corruption of "gleam".
- Dharkon's appearance of being an organic mass of tentacles resembles Azathoth. Along with his single slitted eye, he could also be compared to Shuma-Gorath.
