Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
- As with all veterans returning from SSB4, the Mii Fighters' models feature more subdued color schemes.
- Players can customize the Mii Fighter's voice clips. Up to 12 voices are selectable.
- All three types of Mii Fighter have had their body proportions adjusted.
- While still based off default Miis, each Mii Fighter has an altered appearance.
- The default outfits for the Mii Fighters have significantly more detail.
- Mii Swordfighters now have sheaths on their backs.
Mii Brawler
- The Brawler's default outfit features a stylised shirt with extra padding on their forearms and shins.
- The Mii Brawler now has a flaming uppercut with an explosion at the end, dealing five hits in total. The move resembles Ultimate Uppercut; however, it is currently unclear if it is the same move or an entirely different one.
- The Mii Brawler now has a counter. After being hit, the Mii Brawler will grab the opponent before throwing the victim on the ground behind them.
- Soaring Axe Kick's animation has been altered, and appears to be performed faster.
Mii Swordfighter
- The Swordfighter's default outfit is now a tunic, with additional armor pieces and a sheath.
- The Mii Swordfighter now has a move resembling Power Thrust, but with a slightly different animation. As of now, it is unclear if it is the same move or an entirely different one.
- Blurring Blade now has a flame effect and ends in an upward slash, rather than a thrust.
Mii Gunner
- The Gunner's default outfit is now a bodysuit with a character-colored jacket and boots.
- The Mii Gunner has a different idle animation.
- The Mii Gunner's pummel is a knee strike, rather than an arm cannon bash.
