Grass (グラス,Gurasu) is an item in Super Smash Bros. 4. It appears as a tuft of grass in the ground. Characters that who pull up the grass will receive a random item. Should they pick up a status or recovery item, then they will receive their effects immediately.
Origin
Grass appears in Super Mario Bros. 2. When grass is pulled, an item will be produced. Usually the item is a vegetable, but sometimes it could yield a magic potion, a stopwatch, a POW Block, a bomb, a turtle shell, or a rocket. In Sub-space, pulling grass rewards the player with coins that can be spent at the end-of-level slot machine.
