Bowser Jr. was unofficially revealed as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4 via leaked videos from footage used by ESRB to rate the game. He fights in the Junior Clown Car.
Known Moveset
- Neutral Attack: Uses the boxing gloves from New Super Mario Bros. U.
- Dash Attack: Uses Grinders from Super Mario World.
- Up tilt: Uses a fork.
- Forward Tilt: Uses a fork.
- Down Tilt: Uses the tongue of the Koopa Clown Car.
- Up Smash: Uses the propellor of the Koopa Clown Car.
- Forward Smash: Uses a pair of drills.

Palette swaps
Bowser Jr. doesn't change colors for his palette swaps. Instead, he is replaced with one of the Koopalings.
- Green - Has Bowser Jr. in a green Clown Car.
- Light Blue - Has Larry Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes light blue.
- Red - Has Roy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes red.
- Pink - Has Wendy O. Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes pink.
- Light Green - Has Iggy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes light green.
- Brown - Has Morton Koopa Jr. replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes dark brown.
- Yellow - Has Lemmy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes yellow.
- Blue - Has Ludwig Von Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes blue.
