This article is about Bowser Jr.'s appearance in Super Smash Bros. 4. For the character in other contexts, see Bowser Jr..

Bowser Jr. was unofficially revealed as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4 via leaked videos from footage used by ESRB to rate the game. He fights in the Junior Clown Car.

Known Moveset

  • Neutral Special involves Bowser Jr. shooting a Cannonball from the Koopa Clown Car's mouth.
  • Side Special has the Clown Car gain wheels and drive forward, much like Wario Bike.
  • Summons a Mecha-Koopa, presumably for his Down Special.
  • His Up Special consists consists of jumping out of his Junior Clown Car while it explodes, dealing damage. After landing, he regains another vehicle.
  • Bowser Jr. uses many weapons from Mario games.
  • One of his taunts has him sitting on the edge of the car, breathing fire.
  • His up smash involves Bowser Jr. hitting opponents with the Clown Car's propellor.
  • His down tilt uses the tongue of the Koopa Clown Car.
  • His Final Smash consists of him summoning Shadow Mario to paint an "X" in front of the screen. Any opponent that goes near it gets hit.

Palette swaps

Bowser Jr. doesn't change colors for his palette swaps. Instead, he is replaced with one of the Koopalings.

  • Green - Has Bowser Jr. in a green Clown Car.
  • Light Blue - Has Larry Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes light blue.
  • Red - Has Roy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes red.
  • Pink - Has Wendy O. Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes pink.
  • Light Green - Has Iggy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes light green.
  • Brown - Has Morton Koopa Jr. replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes dark brown.
  • Yellow - Has Lemmy Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes yellow.
  • Blue - Has Ludwig Von Koopa replace Bowser Jr. and the Clown Car becomes blue.
