Trivia
- This is the first time Beyond the Summit is holding a Smash tournament outside of Melee, although VGBootCamp held a similar invitational for Smash Wii U in December 2017, called Smash 4 Boot Camp.
- Armada, Leffen, Mew2King, Mang0, and Plup have all competed at Melee Smash Summits, making them the first to compete in Summits for two Smash games.
- While this is Armada, Mew2King, Mang0, and Plup's first time playing at a Summit event outside of Melee, Leffen did so already, for Dragon Ball FighterZ at Summit of Power in 2018.
- Mew2King, Mang0, and Plup are the only players to attend all Smash Summits, regardless of game, as Leffen was unable to attend the first two Smash Summits due to Visa issues, and Armada retired shortly before Smash Summit 7.
- This is the first time within the Summit series of tournaments that a New England Smash player opted in and was not voted in.
