Overview[edit]
Compared to Pikachu, Pichu's grab has longer range. Due to the grab range slightly reaching behind himself, if an opponent is extremely close, Pichu is able to grab them from his backside.
Unless forward movement is truly needed during the startup frames, and the grab can be near guaranteed to land, Pichu's dash grab is vastly inferior to its regular grab. This is due to Dash Grab's higher startup time and taking 10 frames longer for the animation to end if missed.
