Overview[edit]
Mr. Game and Watch fires a torch forward, referencing Fire Attack. His forward smash is a strong finishing move that can segue well into finishers for precise chain-grabs, but the move comes out generally slowly. On top of this, the move has lots of endlag, meaning missing it is an easy punish for your opponents. This is offset by the fact that it has the capability to easily perform large amounts of knockback and is generally used by competitive Mr. Game & Watch players to finish combos or take advantage of a well-performed read. It's rare to see this move in serious competitive scenes, but when performed excellently, it is easily one of, if not the best combo finisher Mr. Game & Watch has at his disposal.
