Trivia
- Corrin is the only first-party DLC newcomer.
- Corrin is the newest character to be introduced as playable in Super Smash Bros. 4.
- Corrin is also the only playable character who post-dates SSB4's release, as his first appearance occurred nine months after it was released in Japan.
- Corrin is the only DLC character to have a male and female variant, making Corrin the second Fire Emblem character to have this trait, following Robin.
- Corrin is the second playable Fire Emblem character to debut in Super Smash Bros. before their origin game's worldwide releases, sharing this distinction with Roy.
- Despite his prominently-featured ability to transform into a dragon by way of his manakete heritage, Corrin is not actually the first Fire Emblem character represented in Smash who can have such a distinction. Roy can be 1/4 manakete if the half-manakete Ninian marries Eliwood and becomes Roy's mother. Robin has Fell Dragon Blood due to being the Fell Dragon Grima themselves, and Lucina can inherit Fell Dragon Blood if a female Robin is her mother.
- Corrin and Roy are the only two DLC fighters to share a universe.
- Corrin has the most dislikes out of any trailer.
