Trivia[edit]

Tharja's removed trophy
  • A trophy of Tharja from Fire Emblem Awakening was planned for inclusion in the game, and can be seen in the ESRB leak. However, the trophy is not present in the game, implying that it was removed from the game some time after it was recorded for the ESRB review footage. It can be speculated that her design may have been considered too suggestive for the game to keep its intended E10+ rating, and was removed in order to maintain such a rating; by comparison, Fire Emblem Awakening received a T ("Teen") rating from the ESRB.
  • Due to concerns raised by CERO, Lyn's trophy was updated to be less revealing in the Japanese update 1.0.6, though her in-game model is unchanged.
  • Oddly, Marth's game appearances are the same in all versions of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, despite making his western debut outside of Smash in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the Nintendo DS. Additionally, the Famicom and Super Famicom symbols are used even in the western versions.
  • Chrom and Tiki's trophy descriptions were later used as the official description for them on the official amiibo website (albeit with a few modifications).
  • Lucina's trophy is the only time in the series where an unlockable character's trophy is listed before a starter of the same universe (in this case Robin). This is because Lucina was revealed first in their shared trailer.
