The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Spirits that gained spirit battles
These spirits initially did not have spirit battles, and were only obtainable via Summon or by purchasing from shops in World of Light, but gained them through updates and DLC. Spirits that gained battles after the release of a specific DLC fighter require that fighter's Challenger Pack in order to partake in their battle.
No. | Image | Name | Series | DLC required |
---|---|---|---|---|
971 | Poppi α | Xenoblade Chronicles Series | Challenger Pack 9 | |
1,134 | Tank & Infantry | Famicom Wars Series | None (originally exclusive to the The More the Merrier Spirit Board event, but battle can be rematched at any time from version 8.0.0 onward) | |
1,288 | Ribbon Girl | ARMS | Challenger Pack 6 | |
1,291 | Ninjara |
Trivia
- Prior to version 8.0.0, the Ryo Sakazaki spirit battle did not use the Mii Costume, even if it was downloaded.
- Although there are corresponding Mii outfits, some spirit battles have not changed at least one of their fighters to match said Mii outfit. These include the Tails, MegaMan.EXE, Zero, X, Rex, Squid Sisters, Veronica (in the Hero's Comrades spirit), Bomberman, Akira, Iori Yagami, Nakoruru, Geno, and Shantae battles.
- Rex, Tora, and Mòrag are the only spirits in World of Light to have their battles affected by DLC.
