A stage based on the game Kirby's Dream Land' (プププランド, Pupupu Land) appears in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. It is a scrolloing stage taking place in the aforementioned game. Apparently, turning on the Nintendo 3DS's 3D feature will make it look like there is a Game Boy inside the screen.

Trivia

• The Pic of the day from August 8, 2014 that features the monochrome Kirby and King Dedede costumes is likely a reference to Kirby's Dream Land, which debuted on the system. Incidentally, the Super Smash Bros. and Kirby series were also directed by Masahiro Sakurai.
  • Additionally, the Miiverse caption for the aforementioned picture references the Game Boy start-up sequence jingle.
