Balloon Fight (バルーンファイト, Barūnfaito) is a stage in the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. 4. The stage is a rendition of the original game.

Overview

It appears to be a stage with several platforms, three Flippers, a river with the fish, and the original 8-bit graphics similar to Mario Bros. and 75m from Brawl. Unlike any other stage, walking off the side of the screen will cause the character to warp around to the other side instead of self-destructing; it is unknown whether this also applies to taking knockback.

The stage appears to have at least two possible layouts, although it's unknown if these are randomized like Tortimer Island, or chosen from a set list.

Origin

In Balloon Fight, a player would fly around in a helmet with balloons strapped on. He would try to defeat all enemies who were resting on platforms. This stage, minus the playable characters and items, has the original graphics from the NES game. Moving offscreen sideways would cause the player to reappear on the other side, which is recreated in the stage.
