The Gust Bellows is a weapon from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sworrd, and was confirmed as a new item. Its functions are primarily similar to its Zelda appearance when held and seems to have a more realistic model this time around.
Origin
The Gust Bellows originated from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as an item found in the Lanayru Mining Facility. Link uses the item to create large vortexes of wind to blow various objects, including sand, dust, household items and enemies, away. The item is crucial against the final boss in the Lanayru Mining Facility: Moldarach; it is also used against another Moldarach, a mini-boss later after in the Lanayru Sand Sea.
In Super Smash Bros. 4
The Gust Bellows function similarly to Skyward Sword when picked up, allowing characters to blow their enemies away with extreme force similar to Kyogre's Hydro Pump attack. When dropped, it's apparent the bellows will run wild and become a hazard for everyone on the stage, for its wind patterns seem random so far.
