The Panda Cup Finale, is the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate finale for the Panda Cup, and will be held in Los Angeles, California on December 16th-18th, 2022. The 28 players of each game who qualified through the circuit will participate in the tournament. A Last Chance Qualifier for each game will be held the day before the finale on December 15th with the Top 4 players qualifying,[1] bringing the total to 32 players for each game. All finalists will have complimentary travel and housing for the event.[2] The tournament is projected to have the tenth-largest singles pot for a Melee tournament and the eighth-largest singles pot for an Ultimate tournament.
Format
The Last Chance Qualifier will be played on December 15th the Los Angeles Convention Center. Phase 1 of the finale will take place on December 16th-17th up until the Top 8, also at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Top 8 will be played to completion on December 18th at The Novo.
