Overview

Hitbox of Kirby's down tilt.

While ducking very low (low enough to dodge certain moves such as up angled forward tilts), Kirby puts his foot down on the ground for a few moments, doing 9% damage and moderately low knockback, with an angled hit similar to Fox's shine. While low powered, it can make great use for gimping opponent's recoveries and for shield pressuring. It is very commonly used vs Falcon if it is not possible to get in the air and down aerial instead, as well as vs. Jigglypuff, Samus, and Fox. It can be comboed into by forward air, especially if run off via a platform. The move also has decent range and rather short ending lag, so it's generally safe to use, though not as much compared to Kirby's other tilts.
