It will be the first Ultimate Summit and will be similar to the Super Smash Bros. Melee events in the Smash Summit series. Like previous Smash Summits, it will be held at the Summit Gaming House, a private residence house in Los Angeles, California, and will be closed to the general public.

Trivia

  • This is the first time Beyond the Summit is holding a Smash tournament outside of Melee, although VGBootCamp held a similar invitational for Smash Wii U in December 2017, called Smash 4 Boot Camp.
  • Armada, Leffen, and Mew2King have all competed at Melee Smash Summits, making them the first to compete in Summits for two Smash games.
    • While this is Armada and Mew2King's first time playing at a Summit event outside of Melee, Leffen did so already, for Dragon Ball FighterZ at Summit of Power in 2018.
