Falco returns as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4, as confirmed by a leaker's Twitch stream. His moveset appears to be largely unchanged from its Brawl incarnation.

His appearance also hasn't changed much from Brawl, albeit a lighter shade of blue for the feathers and a smaller eye reticle.

Changes from Brawl

  • Buff Forward air, and neutral air connect better.
  • Buff Neutral attack has a finisher.
  • Buff Forward air has less ending lag.
  • Buff Back air has a new animation is faster.
  • Buff Side Special has less start up.
  • Buff Up smash is stronger.
  • Buff Up special gains more recovery distance.
  • Nerf Down air is slower.
