Samsora is a | Samsora | ||
Samsora is a Smasher from Slidell, Louisiana, who is currently residing in New York City. He is known for being the best Peach player across two different Smash titles.
He made his competitive debut in forwiiu, where he was the greatest Peach player of all-time, being ranked on every iteration of the PGR since PGR v2 and being ranked 22nd on the PGR 100 as the only Peach player in the ranking's top 50. He is especially known for his performances in 2018, where he became a contender for the season's top 10 and notably placed 2nd at Super Smash Con 2018, the closest a Peach player came to winning a major. In addition to Peach, he also had Rosalina & Luma and Zero Suit Samus secondaries.
Following Smash 4, Samsora continued to main Peach in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and became one of the best Ultimate players of the early metagame, peaking at 2nd on the Fall 2019 PGRU. He won a few majors during this period, most notably Shine 2019, which still remains the only supermajor win from a Peach or Daisy player. He was eventually banned from competitive play due to his involvement in CaptainZack's controversy. Although he has since appeared at a few events, he failed to capture the success he saw in the early metagame. Nevertheless, Samsora is still considered one of the greatest Peach/Daisy players of all-time, especially since no players of either princess were able to win a major for several years after the early metagame.
== Playstyle == | |||
Samsora is known for his defensive bait and punish playstyle, as well as his quick movement with his main Peach.
=== In Smash 4 === | |||
For Peach, Samsora overshoots defensive options to bait his opponent into hitting Peach, allowing him to access his aggressive punish game. Samsora mixups his movement, allowing him to consistently escape the corner. Samsora utilises the jump cancel fast fall technique to create mind games. He rarely uses Peach's counter, Toad, but he utilises Toad for edgeguarding and anti-edgeguarding.
=== In Ultimate === | |||
Samsora's playstyle remains the same in Ultimate. He continues to use Peach and utilise her heavy combo game and potent edgeguarding.

On September 14th, 2020, Mistake released a TwitLonger alleging that CaptainZack's TwitLonger on Nairo was full of manipulations and lies. In the TwitLonger, he also included a section on Samsora, accusing him of knowing about Zack's relationships with Ally and Nairo but doing nothing about it. Mistake then stated that he believed Samsora disliked being in Nairo's shadow but nonetheless used Nairo to gain more attention, and when Nairo became useless to him he decided to get rid of him; as a result, he collaborated with Zack on his TwitLonger in order to "reap the benefits of Nairo’s downfall."
Samsora would deny all of Mistake's accusation towards him the next day, and explain his side of the story. He claimed that he first heard about the Zack and Nairo situation from Zack, but he never believed it to be true until 2019 when Nairo told Samsora. He then stated that Nairo asked Samsora and Zack to lie about the situation, stating that it would ruin his life, and while Samsora didn't want to, he decided to go along because Zack complied. However, by July 2020, Zack didn't want to continue with the lie, and Samsora persuaded him to come out with the information, believing that Zack had changed as a person and wanted to help end this period of CaptainZack's life. He ended it by apologizing for not speaking out sooner about both the situations with Ally and Nairo.
Following Nairo's statement on October 28th, Samsora would make another Tweet on the subject on November 8th, stating that he had since distanced himself from both parties as he realized the situation was beyond his control. After Nairo's final statement on the subject matter on February 19th, 2021, Samsora would post an official apology on how he handled the situation.

Samsora is a Smasher from Slidell, Louisiana, who is currently residing in New York City. He is known for being the best Peach player across two different Smash titles.
He made his competitive debut in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where he was the greatest Peach player of all-time, being ranked on every iteration of the PGR since PGR v2 and being ranked 22nd on the PGR 100 as the only Peach player in the ranking's top 50.
Playstyle[edit]
Samsora is known for his defensive bait and punish playstyle, as well as his quick movement with his main Peach.
In Smash 4[edit]
For Peach, Samsora overshoots defensive options to bait his opponent into hitting Peach, allowing him to access his aggressive punish game. Samsora mixups his movement, allowing him to consistently escape the corner. Samsora utilises the jump cancel fast fall technique to create mind games. He rarely uses Peach's counter, Toad, but he utilises Toad for edgeguarding and anti-edgeguarding.
In Ultimate[edit]
Samsora's playstyle remains the same in Ultimate. He continues to use Peach and utilise her heavy combo game and potent edgeguarding.

Controversy[edit]
On September 14th, 2020, Mistake released a TwitLonger alleging that CaptainZack's TwitLonger on Nairo was full of manipulations and lies. In the TwitLonger, he also included a section on Samsora, accusing him of knowing about Zack's relationships with Ally and Nairo but doing nothing about it. Mistake then stated that he believed Samsora disliked being in Nairo's shadow but nonetheless used Nairo to gain more attention, and when Nairo became useless to him he decided to get rid of him; as a result, he collaborated with Zack on his TwitLonger in order to "reap the benefits of Nairo’s downfall."[2]
He ended it by apologizing for not speaking out sooner about both the situations with Ally and Nairo.[3]
Following Nairo's statement on October 28th, Samsora would make another Tweet on the subject on November 8th, stating that he had since distanced himself from both parties as he realized the situation was beyond his control.[4] After Nairo's final statement on the subject matter on February 19th, 2021, Samsora would post an official apology on how he handled the situation.[5]
Due to his actions in July, Samsora would be banned indefinitely from any tournaments held by Cagt, Grayola, and L4st and added to the Global Ban Database.[6] On April 3, 2021, he would make a final tweet before deactivating his account.[7] Samsora has since made several appearances in tournaments run by BrookLAN[8] and has attended a few regionals such as Low Rez and CIRQUE du CFL, but has yet to attend any major event since his controversy.
