Miiverse (Miiverse, Miiverse) is a stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The stage was announced and revealed during the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: 50-Fact Extravaganza on October 23rd, 2014. Functionally, its layout is similar to Battlefield, but with key aesthetic differences and minor layout changes. The stage's theme is centered around Miiverse, with the platforms and background designed to match those of the Miiverse interface. Selected messages created by users appear in the background, intended to cheer the fighters on. Users are able to post messages and drawings for each character to Miiverse, which can then appear when that character is a participant in a match. The border color determines which character the post cheers for. During the results screen, players will have the option to send a post directly to Miiverse related to the character who won the match. This prompt occurs even if Miiverse is disabled on the system. Compared to Battlefield, the stage is slightly wider and the platforms are longer.
It was made available in a free update on June 14th, 2015. It is automatically downloaded after the update.
This stage is not available when playing against others online, making it the only stage with that restriction. When playing locally, this stage can be played even with the Wii U not connected to the internet; doing so will simply cause no messages to appear.
Certain events will cause additional Miiverse posts to appear:
- When a Smash Ball appears, one message for each fighter will pop up. When a character acquires one, numerous posts for that character quickly pop up and stay that way until the character loses it or the Final Smash is over.
- When the crowd is about to cheer for a fighter, up to four messages will appear for that fighter.
- Ordinarily, a larger message will pop up cheering on a character who has attained a KO, but sometimes a message for the KO'd character will show up instead. If the KO is done via meteor smash, two messages will come up, and the message will shake when it appears.
Ω Form
The Omega form removes the thin platforms and resembles the Online Practice Stage. Miiverse posts still appear in the background as usual.

Trivia
- Currently, Miiverse is the only downloadable stage that is completely unavailable in 8-Player Smash.
- Miiverse and Pirate Ship are the only downloadable stages not available on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
- Any snapshots that are taken on this stage are unable to be posted on Miiverse, nor can they be painted on.
- If a Nintendo 3DS is being used as a controller, the stage will be unavailable.
- Replays will record where and when posts appear, but do not record post content. Therefore, it's possible to see different posts every time a replay is watched.
