The Demon King and the Goddess! is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player controls Ganondorf, and must defeat a team of Link and Zelda. After either defeating the two or reaching the stage's Goddess Statue, a giant Palutena appears, and defeating all three will complete the event.
Progression
This event is unlocked by clearing The Destroyer Cometh. Completing the event unlocks the left path.
- Left path: Awards the Impa (Skyward Sword) trophy. Leads to Princess Punch-Up!.
Completing the event on normal or hard difficulty within 45 seconds awards a Desperate Defender Magic Stone equipment.
Trivia
- This event is similar to the Brawl's Event 33: Advent of the Evil King where Ganondorf fights Link, Zelda, and Pit, who is a Kid Icarus character.
