The Ultimate Swordsman is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, the player controls Ike and must defeat Link, Marth, Meta Knight, Toon Link, Male and Female Robin, and Shulk in an 8-player free-for-all battle. All characters wield some type of sword.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by clearing The Falchion's Seal. Completing the event does not unlock any additional paths.
Completing the event on normal difficulty or higher after defeating 5 enemies awards a Quick Smasher Cape equipment.
Trivia[edit]
- Discounting Mii Swordfighter and DLC fighters Cloud, Roy, and Corrin, Lucina is notably the only sword-wielder who does not appear in this event, therefore leaving every sword-wielding character involved in this match who are starter characters.
- This event is one of four 8-Player Smash events in the game along with King of the Yoshis, Peach in Peril, and Visiting Onett.
