Hey, everyone got their rights removed on there, including the inactive admins. So you might want to request your rights back on it. Omega Tyrant 16:16, 30 June 2011 (EDT)
helps
id like to know what i could do to help out around here, i feel pretty useless--kyle.b talk (contributions) 15:27, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
- You can always go to random pages and see if there are minor fixes that need to be make (like spelling or grammar). Toomai Glittershine The Incomprehensible 15:40, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
- i was thinking that i could add sections of manual descriptions, it seems like a good idea (i suck at grammer)--kyle.b talk (contributions) 15:44, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
- Generally, if you think it's a good idea, then you don't have to ask someone if it's a good idea. Toomai Glittershine Da Bomb 15:45, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
- so yes?--kyle.b talk (contributions) 15:47, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
Sorry Kyle. I know you wanted to help contribute to the wiki with the manual descriptions, but I wanted to help, and that resulted in me finishing the rest of the work. Sorry. :( Forbidden7 (talk) 21:07, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
- Oh by the way, remember to only add a blue link for brawl if there isn't one on top (bad example:if there is already a blue link to the article on brawl on a smasherbeta and brawl is mentioned below, don't add a blue link for the one on the bottom, because there is already one on the smasherbeta)Forbidden7 17:24, 2 July 2011 (EDT)
100!!!!
tell me the 100th round of SA is super special,i just can't wait (>^.^)> Lucas-IV- PKThunder PK Rocket! 09:21, 2 July 2011 (EDT)
Here's an idea:How about for SA #100,you make the all the playable characters of Smash 64 vs all the characters of Melee,vs all the playable characters in Brawl! Forbidden7 (talk) 10:01, 2 July 2011 (EDT)
- I already have 80% of round 100 planned out, and there's no room for anything that drastic. Toomai Glittershine The Celeritous 10:07, 2 July 2011 (EDT)
Username
I wnat to change my name. i'll be on everyday at 11 amLuke5176 (talk) 10:57, 2 July 2011 (EDT)
- It's not very helpful for a name change request to be followed up by a piece of useless information. I would need to know what username you want. Toomai Glittershine The Honcho 11:48, 2 July 2011 (EDT)

Assistance
I have the greatest enthusiasm for this mission. My confidence in this wiki's ability to succeed is great. I do however have one trivial matter that I do hope I can get your assistance with. You seem a level-headed, intelligent person with much power in regards to this wiki. I have noticed that sound files, while talked about to great length in many articles, are not included in the wiki itself so far as I have seen. I can obtain a wide variety of MP3 files from many sources that can be used here if such a thing is allowed. I only wish to be useful, which thanks to the high quality and restless hard work of the many contributers here, is difficult. If I may offer my service in this manner, all I would need is a way to upload audio files onto the wiki. MtnDewholic (aka "Dewie") 16:48, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
- I don't really think you're allowed to add audio files,seeing as no one has. Forbidden7 17:38, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
- For the most part,that is. Forbidden7 17:38, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
I think having sounds and voice clips is okay; we don't have a rule against it in any case (at one point we had the noise of a ping uploaded which was never ported over when the move happened). Full music clips might be in a grey area in terms of being useful; there are a bunch of valid Youtube videos of such musics and the files would be pretty big.
In terms of actually uploading MP3 files - the wiki currently will only accept .ogg files, but I'm sure there's some option to enable MP3 uploads I'd have to find. You would use Special:Upload (even though it's titled "Upload image"). Toomai Glittershine The Eggster 18:09, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
- I was wondering about that. I raised the issue because I found a page that had a bunch of links to a plethora of youtube videos, which I saw as a great inconvenience when I have seen media playing bits on wikis (particularly Wikipedia). I was just wondering if such a thing were possible here. I can convert the media files into just about any format, though ".ogg" is nothing I have hear of before. MtnDewholic (aka "Dewie") 20:25, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
Same here.I've heard of wma and MIDI,but not ogg. Then again,maybe I have. Forbidden7 20:33, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
- That sounds like a paradox. I'll do a test upload with a sound file of, say, Meta Knight's Dreamland Theme Rock Remix in .ogg format. MtnDewholic (aka "Dewie") 20:37, 3 July 2011 (EDT)
