The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Jigglypuff performs a crouching kick while extending its leg outwards. The move is generally considered Jigglypuff's best tilt, however it is a somewhat mediocre tool overall. It has the longest reach of all of Jigglypuff's tilts, which is a valuable asset due to it generally having only rather short ranged attacks. Additionally, the move deals 10% damage, which is impressive damage for a tilt. It also has good base knockback and is a semi-spike, making it useful for gimping opponents, as well as making it completely safe on hit from 0%. However the move has some shortcomings which prevent it from being an objectively good move. Most notably is its lack of speed, being Jigglypuff's slowest tilt with the hitbox not activating until frame 10, along with having a duration of 30 frames in all. This makes usage of the move somewhat of a commitment, limiting its utility significantly. It is also the weakest of Jigglypuff's tilts knockback wise, despite having good base knockback, and although it has above average range for Jigglypuff's moveset, it still does not posses particularly good range. Overall, while the move certainly has some notable utility as part of Jigglypuff's ground game, its weaknesses prevent its potential from being fully utilized. | |||
