75m or 75 m?[edit]
Sorry, that I moved it, but the stage selection screen says it has a space...-- PSIWolf (T • C • E) 09:04, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- The stage selection screen is using an image of text, which does have a space. But this page uses the spaceless version (as actual text) twice. So we should try to find some third place (or more) in the game that mentions the stage and see if that has a space or not. Toomai Glittershine The Breegull 09:10, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- Alright. By the way, sorry about the question mark in that other file's name.-- PSIWolf (T • C • E) 09:14, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- I suggest somebody goes on Challenges. Toast ltimatum 11:48, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- The text data for the Challenges screen gives it with a space, so "75 m" is the correct form. Toomai Glittershine The Superlative 13:05, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- I'm inclined to believe the space in-game is a formatting error, and that the DOJO has the correct form. I would say "75m" should remain the title. Miles (talk) 13:47, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- The fact that the Dojo and original Donkey Kong Arcade Game call it "75m" is irrelevant because it is called "75 m" in every instance in the game. Also, we cannot determine whether or not it was a formatting error, since we didn't program this game. Calling the article "75 m" solely based on the assumption that it's a formatting error is nonsensical. DoctorPain99 {ROLLBACKER} 18:34, 27 January 2012 (EST)

here's a super amazing glitch i did on this stage, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=716_OiZCgMQ&context=C4136b3bADvjVQa1PpcFMZD7GR_qgAImYzC4udzbeRyKz1pDdLheY= 68.7.166.74 12:25, 4 April 2012 (EDT)
Move[edit]
Oppose. While the DOJO!! and Extravaganza (and 25m BGM uses the formatting) use 75m, we currently don't know if it's called 75m in-game. Plus, even if it was renamed, we don't have Congo Jungle as Kongo Jungle, the Melee name. PikaSamus (talk) 15:49, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
- I really don't want anything like this happening again, but if you want my opinion, I'd say wait until release. Unlike the Rosalina & Luma rename debate, which started about 6 months before release, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U only releases in about 3-5 weeks. We can wait to move this, don't worry. Rtzxy Smashing! 15:57, 28 October 2014 (EDT)
It appears that in SSB4 it is 75 m. In light of this, I am opposed to the move. Unknown the Hedgehog 15:13, 9 November 2014 (EST)
- It really seems to be more of a kerning problem than anything. Given the formatting of the music is still "25m" and official sources for both games use "75m", I'm still not quite sure the space is a valid part of the title. Miles (talk) 15:18, 9 November 2014 (EST)
- That's a huge space for kerning. Unknown the Hedgehog 15:21, 9 November 2014 (EST)
- It's an awkwardly sized space, yeah. It just seems to be the outlier rather than the rule. Miles (talk) 15:23, 9 November 2014 (EST)
- lol I'm sorry, but I disagree. I think it's a genuine space. Even if 25m has no space, this stage still does regardless. Unknown the Hedgehog 15:25, 9 November 2014 (EST)
- It has been decided that Congo Jungle will likely be renamed to match newer games in the series. Under this change, I support the move to 75m. Lumastar (talk) Lumastar (talk) 15:34, 11 November 2014 (EST)

Personally, I support a move to 75m. I don't know anyone who refers to it as 75 m, so I asked around and no one who responded seems to call it anything other than 75m. A few didn't even know it could be called 75 m. I think that falls under SW:OFFICIAL, if I'm right. Mistiryshak (talk) 11:43, 12 November 2014 (EST)
Due to new developments, it is still known as "75 m" in-game, so I still oppose. PikaSamus (talk) 11:47, 12 November 2014 (EST)
I personally support the move due since the music name "25m" is spelled similarly and the stage is called 75m in official sources. Most people also seem to spell it as "75m". LimitCrown (talk) 16:56, 12 November 2014 (EST)
Here's what we know:
75 m (space):
- Stage selection in Brawl.
- Challenge in Brawl.
- Stage selection in SSB4 (I believe based on the above video I linked).
75m (no space):
- Smash Dojo (x2)
- 25m track in Brawl and SSB4
- 50-Fact Extravaganza
So it appears that they're a bit inconsistent with whether or not the space is there, which is actually making me neutral on the move. Knowing that there is no apparent "standard" for whether the space is there or not and how they're inconsistent themselves, we'll probably have to use our own discernment on whether we believe the space should be there or not. Unknown the Hedgehog 23:31, 12 November 2014 (EST)
For those opposed to a move, would a compromise along the lines of "75m, also stylized 75 m" be acceptable? Miles (talk) 23:30, 21 November 2014 (EST)
- Like Pac-Man (PAC-MAN in-game, Pac-Man on the website)? I'm okay with that, I guess. PikaSamus (talk) 11:35, 24 November 2014 (EST)
- Personally, even though I'm neutral on the move (due to the list I gave above), I lean more towards "75m" since I think the space between the "75" and "m" is weird when trying to read the name in articles. But that's my own thoughts that aren't based on the anything ingame. Unknown the Hedgehog 12:40, 25 November 2014 (EST)
- I have to go against this. The Super Smash Bros for Wii-U, it's name is 75m. Making the score effectively 2-2

I oppose as I don't want this page to become a big deal like the Mario (SSBB) subpages or Rosalina and Luma (SSB4) talk page. Dots (talk) The G-Man 18:35, 12 January 2015 (EST)
Can this article include 2 screenshot images comparing 8 spawn-points?[edit]
I probably need to head towards the place where I left my copy of Smash Ultimate's game at, in order to check which are their 8 spawn-points in Smash Ultimate's current (and possibly final) version, but I have no access to version 1.0.0 nor 2.0.0 whatsoever. Would someone be allowed to upload two screenshots comparing which are the 8 spawn-points between both versions? Just asking because it leaves me curious to change their on-screen appaearance spots for a stage that has tons of very small platforms (with hazrads on it). Thanks, and lemme know if that's okay. But even if it's allowed, I don't have access to SSBU's Version 1.0.0 nor 2.0.0 anymore, so i'll only be able to upload image of Version 3.1.0's spawn-point set (assuming I have to do it myself, if it's my own suggestion). —Preceding unsigned comment added by NinTOONdo (talk • contribs) 18:51, 25 October 2021 (EST)
- Unless someone has a physical copy and a Switch without any Smash update data, I don't think it is possible. I have the former and no way for the latter (unless I format my Switch, and that isn't happening).
- Unrelated, but make sure your signature meets the guidelines before using it. It should include a link to either (or both) your user page or your talk page. The one you used had a non-existent image that was intended to link to your contributions, which isn't the two things mentioned and also linked to an upload page since the file didn't exist. --CanvasK (talk) 19:04, October 25, 2021 (EDT)
- I'm sorry, you're right! It's just since only write messages to ssbwiki on rare ocassions, the coding for signatures seems too especific for me to properly memorize it all, so I just followed the pattern from a different message I read on the same talk-page. But it's my fault since I should've realized that I clearly have no stock icons for myself yet. Hope this applogy cleears things up, and I promise to try my very best in doing it correctly next time.
