The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

The 2021-2022 Smash 64 Power Rankings is a rankings list compiled by Andykins, Big Red, box, Darkhorse, Dogs_Johnson, Dr. D, Josh Brody, Pokehero, and Shihman.
Methodology
Qualifying players must have attended at least two majors (or similarly notable regionals) that was played on the NTSC-U version of the game. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the decision was made to rank players who only entered Super Smash Con 2022, given they had played in at least 8 sets during the event. Much like with the 2019-2020 Smash 64 Power Rankings, players who only attended one event (or did not meet the Super Smash Con qualification) were excluded from the rankings. To remedy this, a "Hidden Bosses" section was created, listing 6 players who likely would have qualified had they attended an additional event. The nine panelists then ranked qualifying players from #1 to #64, including a few additional players who just missed the cut into the "Expansion Pak".
