The PMRank is an annual power ranking of the top 50 Project M players in the world, first compiled for the 2016 season. Generated by a staff consisting of top players, commentators, tournament directors, and community leaders, the ranking is released on Smashboards in the early part of each subsequent year.
Because of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the competitive scene, the PMRank 2020 was not a power ranking, but rather was a list of 10 up-and-coming players the PMRank staff believed deserved recognition, informed by both offline and online results.
