Hello! I'm DarkFox01, a player of all three Super Smash Bros. games and a rollbacker here on SmashWiki.

I joined SmashWiki on November 23rd, 2011 as MeleeMarth01. I ran an SSB4 roster contest under that username. However, I started to play Brawl more than Melee and started using Fox more and learning about his series. For these reasons, I asked Toomai, a respected bureaucrat, to change my username. Finally, on April 14, 2012, I got my wish, and Toomai changed my username to DarkFox01. After a bit of an odd request, I also got rollback on April 2, 2013, about 16 months after I joined the wiki.

I am very happy with how SmashWiki is progressing and hope that it continues to grow and prosper throughout its years.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and read over my userpage!

The F-Zero racer is a great character, no question about it. He's fast and powerful, exactly what I want. Even without a projectile, he is PERFECT for me. The average character, and one that I find to be fast and powerful enough for my liking. A solid, fast character with good vertical recovery, as well as great aerials and smashes. Reflector comes in handy, too.Like Fox, but a bit lighter and great horizontal and vertical recovery thanks to Quick Attack. I love using Inhale to copy powerful specials, and Stone is a godsend to specials. And of course, he has five midair jumps. He's too light at times for me, though.Just like Mario, but with a different fireball and dash attack, higher jumps, and lighter weight, the last of which puts him here instead of higher. Not a bad character. Good specials, smashes, and aerials. But he's too heavy for me most of the time. Suprisingly heavy, but a good midair jump makes up for it. He's got good smashes too. She's pretty fast and has good smashes and specials, but I haven't done well with her in the air. I'm not that bad with the guy, he's just too heavy for me, and his powerful moves take way too long. He has good recovery and aerials, and his specials aren't bad. He's just too light, and I can never use PK Thunder well during his recovery. I'm not bad with any character, but she's definitely my worst. Too light, and two of her specials take too long. My odds of ever choosing her again are one in a million.

Of course. Good air game, and solid smashes. I’ve become much more accustomed to him lately and feel much more comfortable with him now. Ah, yes, Marth. He’s fast, has good smashes, and has an awesome aerial arsenal. I also have gotten much better at wavedashing and wavelanding with him and know when to use that epic dair spike. Great character. Wavedash, smashes, grabs, and aerials. That is what sets Mario apart. Mario with a few tweaks. Like Fox, only slower and higher-jumping. Another great character. He's fast, has a good air game, and has the Punch, Kick, and Knee. Good character. Just like Mario and the Doc, but with a higher-pitched voice, higher jumps, lighter weight, and way worse traction. Even though his wavedash is amazing, his traction and weight put him here instead of higher. Not a bad character. He's got good specials and aerials. But he's too light for my comfort zone, and has a low falling speed. Another fast character with a good air game, I just haven't found my groove with her on the ground. I'm not that bad with the guy, he's just too light for me.

He may look like a girl, but he's no pretty-boy when it comes to fighting. He has great smashes and ground attacks, not to mention a stunning air game and some nice specials. His palette swaps are also a very nice aesthetic touch. Fox has an amazing air game, good smashes (U-smash especially), and his specials, most of all Reflector, are very useful. Plus, his palette swaps are amazing. He's fast and powerful. His specials are great, and so are his smashes and aerials. I've pulled off some great combos with him, and he can copy the three Punches. A former main. Nice smashes (love that d-smash) and amazing specials. You're...smaller than regular Link. Which is why you have such a good air game. I've had my hands off his bread for a while. He isn't higher because he's a lot slower and jumps higher than Fox, and the Reflector issue. Not a bad character; I think he's underestimated. I just SD too much with Wolf Flash. Mario, too, is underestimated. I'm kinda sad that the Tornado lost to FLUDD and can't be used on the ground anymore, though, which is why he's at #9. Good character overall. And the projectiles at the start of a match are a nice bonus.

Games From Smash Bros. Franchises I Own

Super Smash Bros. (N64): Owned on the VC. The first game in the Smash Bros. series is fun and entertaining, with 12 characters and 9 stages. I enjoy the 1P Game.

Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN): Owned. A very fun and technical game, with many complex techniques.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii): Owned. A great fighting game loaded with characters and stages. I cleared Subspace and like its purpose. It’s the game that made me realize how much I love the Smash series.

Super Mario Strikers (GCN): Owned. A balanced game, no matter who you pick. Charge up powerful shots and gain items to use against your opponent. The 2-point Super Strikes captains can use make the game even more exciting.

Mario Strikers Charged (Wii): Owned. The sequel to the above game is much more advanced, with new stats and more sidekicks to choose from. Each sidekick now has a special Skill Shot, and captains now use Mega Strikes, which can score up to 6 points; the latter addition especially makes for interesting play

New Super Mario Bros. (DS): Owned and beaten, with 2 of 3 stars earned. Mario's return to linear gaming is fun, and the controls are easy to learn.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii): Owned. The sequel to the above game, and another thrilling, linear Mario adventure.

Super Mario 64 (N64): Played, but not owned. The pioneering sandbox-style game in the Mario series. It introduces a great new game style with everybody's favorite plumber.

Super Mario 64 DS (DS): Owned, with about 80 stars. It's Super Mario 64, but with some different levels, more characters, and better graphics And...wait, you have to unlock Mario to play as him?!?

Super Mario Galaxy (Wii): Owned. Another fun, innovative sandbox-style game.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii): Owned. I like the original Galaxy better, but says that this is another solid game with many fun elements (like Yoshi!)

Super Mario Kart (SNES): Owned on the VC. The first game in the series, it paves the way for greatness. It's really odd with the GameCube controller, though, because you have to use the tiny B button to select in the menus and accelerate, and the A button is instead used for items.

Mario Kart 64 (N64): Owned on the VC. A thrilling ride with 16 great tracks and 8 characters, and a great second game in a well-loved series. It set a high standard for the Mario Kart games to come.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit (GBA): Owned on an emulator. Another cool game in the series with some very recognizable tracks, and the game with the most tracks to date (40).

Mario Kart: Double Dash! (GCN): Owned. My first game ever. A unique game in the series, being the only one with two to a kart.

Mario Kart DS (DS): Owned. Only character left to unlock is R.O.B. I feel that there is a lack of characters, but the multitude of tracks makes up for it. Mario Kart DS is the first game in the series with retro tracks and 32 tracks in total.

Mario Kart Wii (Wii): Owned. Another AMAZING Mario Kart game with lots of tracks, battle stadiums, and characters. I love this game because of that and the introduction of bikes into the series, and super-turbos and wheelies. Sometimes I play this game online, and I might even be able to accept some requests for racing.

Mario Kart 7 (3DS): Owned. This game is another thrilling addition to the series, with the addition of gliders and driving under water. The retro tracks they brought back are good, and the new tracks also have great design.

Mario Superstar Baseball (GCN): Owned. The first Mario Baseball game. A fun baseball game with familiar characters.

Mario Super Sluggers (Wii): Owned and completely beaten. The sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball, with even more characters, new parks, and a great, updated Challenge Mode. Plus, who can forget Toy Field?

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Paper Mario 2) (GCN): Owned. A fun game with cool friends, enemies, bosses, and sidekicks.

Pokémon SoulSilver (DS): Owned and beaten (Johto). A fun remake of a Generation II game with tons of trainers and Pokémon to battle, and many interesting places to see and explore.

F-Zero X (N64): Owned on the VC. A high-speed game whose gameplay makes up for its underdeveloped graphics. It’s crazy with friends.

My Userboxes!!!

Userboxes: No one can ever have enough of them. I have 79.

Super Smash Bros. I like the simplicity of the original Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros. Melee I also, though, like the numerous advanced techniques and faster air speed in Melee.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl I think that the overall increase of characters in Brawl by about 10 was good for the series.

Master Hand I hosted an SSB4 Roster Contest when I was MeleeMarth01.
Crazy Hand I’m left-handed and proud of it!
The icon used to represent the IRC. I use the IRC!

King Dedede I'm an NHL fan, but not a Penguins fan.
Fox McCloud I feel like my attitude is very similar to Fox's, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Wolf O'Donnell ...especially when Sakurai does it twice.
File:Androsstrophy2 copy.jpg If I go down, I'm taking you with me!
Pikachu I love the cuteness of #025, even though I know he’s pretty bad in the Pokémon games.

Pichu I would have put all five of the dropped characters in Brawl if they were de-cloned enough.
Mewtwo I'm a big fan of #150.
Pokémon Trainer I find the concept of Twitch Plays Pokémon funny, but also find the actual gameplay extremely pathetic.
Squirtle I'm fond of marine life.
Ivysaur I hate how this Pokémon can grab you so easily in Brawl.
Charizard I only use #006 when I'm the Trainer. As for the others, “Get back!”

Wii Fit Trainer I view myself as out of shape.
Little Mac If I became a boxer, I would get knocked out within the first ten seconds of every single fight.
File:MiiFighterIcon(SSB4-U).png I personally find it a little annoying that customatization in Smash was taken to this level.
Sonic the Hedgehog I think The Subspace Emissary is okay because it finally gave Smash a bit of a storyline, but it also could have been much better.
Solid Snake I've never played a game higher than T.
Mega Man I'm stoked to see Mega Man in SSB4!
Pac-Man I think tha--Wa-ka-wa-ka-wa-ka-wa-ka-wa-ka-wa-ka...
