A stage based on the Game Boy will appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Apparently, turning on the 3DS's 3D will make it look like there's a Game Boy inside the screen.
Trivia
- The PoTD featuring the monochrome Kirby and King Dedede costumes is likely a reference to Kirby's Dream Land which debuted on the system. Incidentally, the Super Smash Bros. and Kirby series were also directed by Masahiro Sakurai.
