Grab releases in Smash 64
What happens in Smash 64 if you don't have grab releases? Awesome Cardinal 2000 23:01, 21 September 2013 (EDT)
DK's infinite throw trap is technically abusing a grab release. Also I think characters can mash out of grabs.--BrianDon't try me! 23:24, 21 September 2013 (EDT)
If you wait for too long when grabbing a character, you'll automatically perform a forward throw. Scr7(talk · contribs) 03:05, 22 September 2013 (EDT)
And I don't think DK's f-throw release is really considered a grab release, it's just something about the f-throw. Scr7(talk · contribs) 03:20, 22 September 2013 (EDT)
- What happens then after the opponent breaks free from the f-throw? Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:15, 22 September 2013 (EDT)
Image tagging
Ensure an image is not used on any pages before tagging it for deletion. If an image isn't needed on articles it's used on, remove the image from these articles. Then after a day or so the image remains unused, and no one disputes the image removal, then tag it for deletion. Omega Tyrant 10:22, 24 September 2013 (EDT)
Thank you.
Thank you. You've welcomed me, you've cleaned up after one or two of my accidental and erroneous errors, and you seem to be an omnipresent good force of SmashWiki. Just wanted to show my appreciation. Jigglypuff the Magic Dragon (talk) 18:52, 25 September 2013 (EDT)
Hey Scr7
Hey Scr7, I want to Brawl with you, but I'm a beginner.. help please--egadardery (edits) 12:40, 5 October 2013 (EDT)
"Finishing off" someone's work
If you see that someone is doing something such as renaming an image, don't immediately fix its link yourself as it's usually not helpful for the person who's in the process of doing it. Wait for the person to finish it by themself as that's what they will usually do. Only finish it if it doesn't get changed after a while. Awesome Cardinal 2000 16:10, 9 October 2013 (EDT)
The unsigned template
There's something weird with however you're using the unsigned template: there's an invisible character between the year and the }}. You can tell because it takes two cursor presses to go through it instead of just one. Try to avoid that, it can confuse the bots.
And don't forget that the template should always be subst:'d and include the timezone. Toomai Glittershine The Superlative 11:42, 12 October 2013 (EDT)
- What do you mean by subst:'ing it? Scr7(talk · contribs) 11:45, 12 October 2013 (EDT)
- Use
{{subst:unsigned|
instead of{{unsigned|
. Like signatures themselves, it can be on potentially every talkpage on the wiki, so we don't want them to be transclusions. Toomai Glittershine The Free 11:49, 12 October 2013 (EDT)

Yo Scr7
First of all, I'd just like to say you seem like a cool, knowledgable, helpful guy (thanks for cleaning up after me brah). Secondly, in reference to your recent recent changes comment, the Pikachu page is not loading at all for me either. What gives? Oasidu (talk) 16:28, 15 October 2013 (EDT)
- Yeah it's weird. For me it seems to depend on what page I'm going to it from; sometimes it's fine and other times it's stuck. Could have something to do with the 2.5MB of gifs but that doesn't look like an issue on other heavily-animated pages. Toomai Glittershine The Metroid 16:31, 15 October 2013 (EDT)
- I don't think a lot of images would cause this. I've had this problem with three pages so far (Camping, Pikachu (SSB), and User:Scr7/Sandbox/SSB64 Character Techniques Sections), none of which have an excessively high amount of images, while my images subpage is /full/ of images yet loads normally for me. Scr7(talk · contribs) 16:34, 15 October 2013 (EDT)
- The Pikachu (SSB) page is loading now, as is Camping... hm. Dunno what happened but if it reverts I guess I'll realert you guys. Oasidu (talk) 16:59, 15 October 2013 (EDT)

Hey, I meant to post this last night but I stayed up way too late and fell asleep... After Fireblaze77's little escapade, the page-loading problems began recurring, but on the pages he messed with and Planking (as well as another page I can no longer recall). They seem to be fine now but I thought I'd give you a heads-up, mate. Cheers Oasidu (talk) 12:36, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
- That thing happened while I was asleep (a lot of events like this seem to happen while I'm asleep lol). The only page that still has loading problems for me is this one; it's been like that for some time now... Scr7(talk · contribs) 12:54, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
- Wow, incidentally, I tried to click that link and surprise, it didn't work (only the edit screen has let me see its destination's name lol). What's the data amount like on that page? Any obvious (hell, even improbable would be semi-useful) reason this could be happening? Oasidu (talk) 16:32, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
Ugh, this seems to be happening with Pikachu (SSB)/Up special as well... Scr7(talk · contribs) 16:49, 22 October 2013 (EDT)
Image Help
I need help to make a image that consists of a yellow Brawl Falco head and a red Meta Knight head side by side in that order I typed it. I saw you have your own signature, so I think you can make me one because I don't know how to make an alternate color scheme on a head. Sorry for the inconvenience.Fireblaze7777 (talk) 16:50, 17 October 2013 (EDT)Fireblaze7777
- I'm pretty poor with making and editing images; MeMyselfAndI made the image in my sig. Also, when you sign you only need to type ~~~~, not ~~~~Fireblaze7777. Scr7(talk · contribs) 16:58, 17 October 2013 (EDT)

Thank you
Most of the times I upload a file or make a mistake in an article, you fix it immediately. It’s really great that you are doing this job here, so thank you very much! Kadano talk 16:27, 1 November 2013 (EDT)
Hey
Hey, Scr7. Sorry about all the small edits; I don't have much time on my hands, so I do what I can in a small amount of time. Tactical Meteor is my personal friend, and I don't know how to directly chat with you so I'm editing this page to put my message here. I don't understand why small edits are a big deal. In my opinion, as long as the page gets done eventually, it'll be fine. But I'll try my best to finish the page soon. Sorry about any confusion or inconvenience. Smash On, -Thriftymeat245, edtior for TacticalMeteor page. P.S. If you could help me change the "User" heading to "Smasher" on the TacticalMeteor page that would be awesome, cuz I don't know how to do that. XD —Preceding unsigned comment added by TacticalMeteor (talk • contribs) 00:37, 17 November 2013 (GMT)
- New messages go on the bottom of the page not the top. It's better to make one big edit instead of multiple small edits so that you don't flood RecentChanges and make your edits easier for us to track. Awesome Cardinal 2000 21:14, 16 November 2013 (EST)
- Also, if you do end up making a lot of edits, it may be better to mark them as minor so they take up less space on the recent changes. And sign your comments by typing the four tildes (~~~~). Scr7(talk · contribs) 04:03, 17 November 2013 (EST)
The "sword attacks" category
..., like other type categories, is a Brawl-introduced concept. Keep it off SSB64 and Melee pages. Toomai Glittershine The Loony 10:31, 23 November 2013 (EST)

"Butthurt"
I don't really think it's a good idea to use the word "butthurt" to refer to other users. It's not really a personal attack, but it seems like the kind of term that would cause an argument to escalate, which we don't want. Toomai Glittershine El Pollo 12:12, 28 November 2013 (EST)
Speedy delete template
Don't apply the speedy delete template to redirects that are still linked in any pages. Only tag it after such links have been deleted. Miles (talk) 13:42, 10 December 2013 (EST)
Hey, Man.
Ok, the Yoshi one was fake. But I swear, that Waluigi one is 100% real. There's even a Youtube video about it. Its called: Waluigi Trailer for SSBB. please look at it! 1 Thank you. -The Master Hand
- You should only reply on your own talk page, not mine or both, though I just replied to you there anyway. Also, sign your comments by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end. Scr7(talk · contribs) 17:55, 14 December 2013 (EST)
Yo
OK, I don't know how I post the 'nowiki' thing. But how about this: I go onto my ssbb game, and find a glitch on there? Does that sound fair? If not, what can I do?
- You just have to type the four tildes shown in the message above the talk page. If they're not on your keyboard, copy paste then from the aforementioned message. Also try not to fill someone's talk page up too much. Besides, I don't really get your question. Scr7(talk · contribs) 18:12, 14 December 2013 (EST)

Brawl?
I know I've asked for a brawl with you before, but USB Loader GX was frustrating to get working. I've gotten a better loader. Once I'm done re-downloading brawl by tomorrow-ish, will you please brawl me then or the day after? Chilex (talk) 10:05, 22 December 2013 (EST)

It is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the Super Smash Bros. 4 Miiverse Website!!!!!!!!! Luigi1234 (talk • contribs) 14:53, 27 December 2013 (GMT)
- It's a fan site, Sakurai has nothing to do with it. This is the actual official site. You're delusional if you try to argue with this, really. And did you read what i just said about SW:TALK?
