Husband is an American Melee player from Maryland who mains Marth. He is one of the two remaining members of Team Ben (along with his friend Wife), one of the premier crews in Maryland in the Golden Age.
He has been competing since January 2004, playing Marth since the game's release, and was considered a top Marth player during the Golden Age. Fitting for their gamertags, he also teamed up with Wife at tournaments, their team being called The Newlyweds. He was also probably most famous for his prowess on the matchup against Peach, often being called a "Peach-slayer." He humorously boasted that "no Peach, under any circumstance, would ever pose a threat to him"; this being due to an absurd amount of practice against Wife's Peach.
Husband's first tournament was Game Over in 2004, where he entered teams but not singles. He immediately picked up the game as a serious commitment, and began improving right away. Husband attended most Major League Gaming tournaments, often more than some tournament directors, and enjoyed travelling long distances to tournaments, often driving more than a dozen hours at a time. He graduated from the West Virginia University, where he studied Sport and Exercise Psychology.
As of present days, he has occasionally entered tournaments around the MD/VA area, and was formerly ranked 18th on the DMV Melee Power Rankings. He has also been more prolific with his commentary than his playing, and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest Smash commentators, with him and Wife having commentated events such as EVO 2015, Apex 2015 and Pound 2016.
