The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Trivia
- This is Miya's first major tournament he was eliminated before Grand Finals since Kagaribi 9, after making Grand Finals for five majors in a row.
- Dabuz won 9 sets in a row in losers bracket after being upset in Round 2 pools by Taikei, including five Game 5 sets in a row. Notably, Top 8 had to wait for Dabuz to finish two of the Game 5 sets before it could start.
- Sparg0's 1st place finish marks the first time a player from North America has won a Japanese Ultimate supermajor (as well as major) tournament. Impressively, this was the first Japanese tournament he attended as well.
- This win also came as a result of an 11-set winstreak in losers bracket, as Sparg0 had been upset in Round 2 pools by Yaura. Together with Dabuz, the entirety of Top 8 was eliminated from the tournament by both players alone.
- The previous record for the highest placement of an international player at a Japanese Ultimate major was held by Riddles's 2nd place at DELTA 4, which took place just two days before the tournament started.
- This tournament marked Shogun's final event as a competitor.
