The Spring 2019 PGRU lists the best smashers for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, starting on February 1st, 2019 with Sumabato SP 2 and GENESIS 6 and ending on July 7th, 2019 with Albion 4, The Pinnacle 2019, and BigWinChampionship 2.
Methodology
The power ranking was formulated similarly to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U's Panda Global Rankings with a few alterations. First, an international multiplier was added, giving tournaments outside of the United States 1.25 points instead of 1. This addition allowed international players to have a better chance on making the power ranking. In addition, there were no points for players on previous PGR rankings as tournament values were based solely on entrant numbers. As a compromise, outplacements were factored into the ranking, as well as wins over players who would've been in the 51-100 range had the ranking gone up to that placement.
