Trivia
- This event is an evolution of Melee's first Event, Trouble King, and is the third in a line of event matches if one includes Trouble King 2, also from Melee.
- However, like Melee's Event 1: Trouble King, both events are the first event in Melee and Brawl, both events have Mario as the assigned character, and both have Bowser as the opponent.
- This is the only event match in Brawl that is both a solo and co-op event.
