Event Match 38: The Wolf Hunts the Fox is the 38th solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is more-or-less a straight-forward 2-stock match between Wolf, who is controlled by the player, and a computer-controlled Fox and Falco, who both have 1 stock each, with unlimited time on the Lylat Cruise stage.
Unlockables[edit]
If a player clears this event on Hard difficulty, they will receive a CD containing the Star Wolf (Star Fox Assault) track, for use in the Lylat Cruise stage.

Trivia[edit]
- This is one of two events in Brawl to have different music than the music piece unlocked by completing this event to play in the actual event, the other being Event 8: Go! Triple Finish!.
- This is similar to how Fox and Wolf often fight in the Star Fox series, although it presents a role reversal.
- The name of this event bears resemblance to the classic fairy tale The Wolf and the Fox.
