Trivia

• Byleth is the only playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series to have their voice actor permanently replaced due to unforeseen circumstances, as the original voice of Male Byleth, Chris Niosi, was replaced by Zach Aguilar due to the former admitting to serious personal allegations and breaking his voice actor NDA with Nintendo prior to gaining permission.
• With a July 2019 debut, Byleth is currently the most recent fighter to appear in the Super Smash Bros. series.
